He was just on Channel 2 News at 6 o'clock and he thinks they have what it takes to win the Stanley Cup. And people wonder why I can't stand the FO of this organization. They completely fall in love with a bunch of losers and won't let it go. Another year, the same old story. Ugggh...

You have been on a roll lately, making a lot of sense. But this thread is misguided. Of course he thinks they could win the Stanley Cup, it is a team that he is mostly apart of. That is what people in his position say.

I'm with Thurm on this one. Even if they think the team is going to be fighting with the Maple Leafs for last place, they're not going to say it publicly. They have to keep morale high for the players and fans.

But I still think Quinn is clueless.

in related news, Larry Quinn signed Trent Edwards as a top 6 defensemen to $4.5MM.

This is true, but the scary part is that their actions actually prove that they do believe this. Now that is crazy!

I agree the organization IN-action supports their beleifs..

This team will make the playoffs, but it doesn't have the grit or mental fortitude to go past round 1

Hey maybe the team learns how to play consistent this year... and can muster up some solid consistent goal scoring.. wihtout it were nothing but the same old group of pretenders.
