The cheap bastard prob doesn't want to spend the money a Franchise number 1 pick in draft demands. I'll be pissed if he trades the pick
does Ralph even want the number 1 Pick?

CBA runs out in March 2011. Draft is in April. Barring a prolonged lockout, the rooks will be reslotted salary wise. The vets are willing to toss these players under the bus to sort everything else out.

Re: does Ralph even want the number 1 Pick?
**** no, he doesn't want the #1 pick. That would be indicative of the worst record in the league. Regardless of what message board scholars think, the team would, really, rather win, and they would rather not be the worst team.
It is a brilliant plan to play for the #1 pick, seriously. That sounds awesome, but the players still have to go out on the actual field and run around and actually play football. A couple of them are competitive, and as much as it sounds feasible to some posters...the #1 pick is not a badge of honor.
Ralph is 91, and contrary to what some decisions at OBD indicate, would rather win a championship.

Re: does Ralph even want the number 1 Pick?
Actually, it is the PERFECT time in the history to have the #1 pick in the draft. The collective bargaining agreement will allow old Ralph to garner the best player without mortgaging the future!! The same scenario will hold if they get a top 5 pick because Mallett, Locker, and Luck are all franchise type QB's, IMO!! The perfect storm!!

At this point I can give a rats tail what Ralph wants. He has made football very painful to watch thanks to his ineptitude as an owner. I cannot think of a worse owner in all of professional sports than him. He has done nothing right the last 10 years and it shows.

The Bills getting the #1 pick would mean something worked out. The Bills will win just enough games to pick between 5-10 and they will blow the pick just like always. If however it makes you feel better to dream by all means carry onThe Polian Curse
"They're a very special group of men. Cherish them, you will not see their like again."
February 4, 1993 Bill Polian at his closing press conferance after being dismissed as GM of the Buffalo Bills by Ralph Wilson.

How could this team not end up with the 1st. pick? We have the worst QBs, OLs, and possibly coaches in the entire league."Expect rejection, but expect more to overcome it."
