    Kevin Kolb

... may now be available... Vick was named the permanent starter in Philly... is he worth a run, or have the resident geniuses decided it's better to keep the losing tradition going

I like Kolb. He's under the radar good (like Matt Schaub).

I don't know if the Iggles trade him though, at least not this quickly.

considering that Vick has only 1 year left on his deal... yeah... Kolb isn't going anywhere.

        MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

          Re: Kevin Kolb

McNabb's backups have always looked really good in limited duty. Miami got burned by this and traded a 2nd for A.J. Feeley, a trainwreck of a QB.

I'm not saying Kolb is a trainwreck or anything, I'm just surprised that Reid, who knows McNabb's backups have performed above their heads, would get rid of McNabb in favor of a guy who may or may not pan out, but I guess he knew he had Vick around if he needed him.

It's always going to be about cost and availability.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

We didn't sign him because our PETA fans threatened to boycott the team & Ralph was afraid of them. He'd rather lose than be protested against.

Because he was making license plates for $1.20 a day.

I'd take Kolb for a low price. He may be damaged goods.

I seem to remember one young, promising quarterback who received a concussion and then proceeded to throw his career away.

I'll give you a hint, we just benched him.

Every name that is ever mentioned to come here is.

So many posters slam the FO, then anytime a name is brought up...."Over-rated, pass."

The same thing was said about Vick when there were talks about him. Now, he looks good, and the message board geniuses say..."Well, there you go, we **** up agian..." when 6 months ago, the story was "He's just not a good QB."

While the PETA thing is just ****ing hilarious, the truth is some people may take issue with the fact that Vick was guilty of committing a pretty heinous crime. Convicted felons have trouble getting jobs now. Some people would rather not compromise their values, for a few wins. That is not a problem when you have no values.

Our FO just needs a few things....

                          1. The hindsight available to message boards
                          2. No values, or at least the willingness to compromise those values.
                          3. They need to not have 31 teams that make trade demands they may not want to meet.
                          4. They also need the other 31 teams not have the ability to make offers to Free Agents
                          5. We also need to have 10-15 1st round picks. Then we should be able to limit the "we coulda had" arguments.

See it's really easy, I don't understand why it's so hard.

Well he played pretty well in two games, if he keeps it up for 14 more he should win it. That is not a sure bet.
