hmmm he could end up somewhere for a 6th rounder, he would most definitely be a solid backup on a solid team

Jaybird

even if it's a 6th pr 7th round pick, it's worth it

Who cares, just get rid of him. I never want to see him on the field in a Buffalo uniform ever again.

Package Trent and Lynch for a 1st rounder.

Send that package to the Seahawks for Okung or SD for McNeil.

Even if russell was 400 lbs and hopped up on the syzurp he would be better than Edwards. Well maybe not but I really hate Edwards right now

I've said it before and I'll say it again...cut him today. He is nothing but a cancer on this team...get rid of him.

Excellent indicator!

We now know that the rubes running the show are finally on board with the fact that the rest of us knew years ago..we need a true Franchise QB, and he's not (yet) on roster.

How can the Bills be shopping Edwards? Isn't his contract up after this year and the trade deadline is over?

Yep... its Nix being stupid. Who's going to trade for a guy that they can simply sign after the seasons over?

What the hell dude, we all know that the Blues haven't used good hockey pucks in years!

Send them for at least the ones they hide in the closet :refuse:

Anywho, I'd take a 6th or 7th rounder for him. Which is what we wasted on Levi Brown this year.

Brief correction: Stan Kroenke (owner of the Rams now) owned the Avalanche, not the Blues, so it's a slightly better deal.

Can't blame Nix for this one, he has nothing to lose by trying to trade him.

And as for waiting until the season's over.....we as Bills fans have become myopic. Because if we actually sniffed a playoff game within the last decade we would recognize the fact that a contender could find it worthwhile to pickup a player or two even if the player were going to come free at seasons end, if said player would bolster their chances for playoff success.

Now as for the actual value that TE could add to anyones roster...that's a different story altogether.

Maybe if they don't get any offers, they'll just cut him outright. That would make me happy!

He's damaged goods i think.

David Carr syndrome. Good potential, but took too many hits behind terrible OL's and now all he can do is feel pressure.

Maybe it's just me, but I could see Edwards being an OK backup BUT only for a team who plays a lot of 4-3 defenses. I think his good performances in preseason was because of the 4-3 defenses he faced.

It's possible a team like the Jaguars could be interested. Luke McCown, their backup, was injured, their division is full of 4-3 defenses, and Garrard looks horrible. I don't expect the Bills to get much of anything for him, but there are one or two teams out there that could be interested.

I think we have all determined that Edwards isn't a starter but I don't think someone is going to look at the film and say he sucks ass. I could see someone giving us a 6th rounder for him. He's not a mistake machine and a good team might see that as a good backup to have.

Well, I have not watched the Coaches film, but after watching him on TV I can tell you Trent SUCKS ASS.

Why would any team trade anything for a QB that can't play against 3-4 defenses & is known to be injury prone?

Whatever team sees value in Edwards should be called by every financial firm in the US that has MBS exposure and sell all their CDO's to that team as well. He's junk. He's worthless.

All he could possibly do is play not to lose for 2-3 weeks while your starter is injured but coming back.

If he has to play more than that, he'll end up injured as well.
