All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Did we pick Spiller with our 1st pick to run back STs only? I don't care which we trade (Fred or Lynch) but get some value out of them. It doesn't make any sense to keep 3 starting caliber RBs on our roster when we have so many holes elsewhere. But definitely don't take less than a 2nd for either FJ or Lynch!!!
If we get a 2nd rd pick, we get a franchise QB with our 1st pick next year, a top RT with our 2nd pick and a decent/fast LB with our other 2nd to replace Maybin/Kelsay (Ellison will be replaced when Poz comes back) and our team jumps up a notch or two in quality. That's not to say they shouldn't do anything offseason or w/free agency but QB, OT and LB are probably the top positions needing upgrading badly!
SD's Ryan Matthews then got injured. Denver's Moreno is still gimpy.
This week Steven Jackson, Ray Rice, and Jahvid Best went down.
Our phone has GOT to be ringing off the hook for Lynch.
GOT TO.
If we deal anyone it should be Jackson. Deal him to a team that needs a RB to make a SB run. That team would be GB and I think he fits their needs perfectly. He is a slasher and that fits their blocking scheme plus he is a great receiver which GB needs out of their RBs.
That is IF we trade a RB. I am happy with keeping all 3.
I still hold firm that I think it's Jackson that should be traded.....Now, I love the guy, but with Spiller on the team, he and Jackson are basically the same type of back with Spiller being the better athlete of the two. Lynch is the bigger power back and Spiller and Jackson are the speed, pass-catching backs. I think Lynch is more valuable to them right now and Jackson has more value in a trade considering the year he had last year. Plus, Jackson still has a cheaper contract than Lynch even after signing the extension.

Lynch is nothing special. If the Bills can get a 2nd rounder for him they better not think twice about it. He's gone after this season anyways and might as well get something for him. It's not like Lynch is going to help the Bills win any games this year. So far he's been the #1 back for 3 games, so far the Bills are 0-3.

Yes, it's Lynch's fault that Trent holds on to the ball for an eternity, that the Oline can't block for sh!# (especially on the rt side) and that b'cse of both of the above, the other teams have been playing 8 in a box. That is completely Lynch's fault and why we haven't been able to win...

No he's not. He's under contract for 2011 (and technically 2012, but he'll void that year).
