i said in a different post, edwards must be a real problem on the team. the players must hate this guy. that's the only reason they had to look into trading a cheap contract and a guy who'd get nothing in return.

Apparently there was no value in trying to trade him. It'll be interesting to see who picks him up but even more interesting to see who the hell we pick up in order to remain with three QB's on the roster...

also I was partially expecting him to be signed to a $24MM extension based on his play. It worked so well for Kelsay.

I guess they figure no sense keeping him in the final year of his contract. They surely would have done the same with JPUFL in 08 after his meltdown.
