That Trent kid has some upside. ;)

Seriously though, are UFL QBs fair game? Tim Rattay anyone?

All piss. We don't need any of them. I don't really care if Levi Brown is resigned or not either. Run with 2 QBs and if they both go down run the wildcat with Fred/Lynch/Spiller/Parrish. Give the roster spot to someone...who...umm...I don't know...give it to Naaman he can't be worse than D. Nelson.

Collins is the #2 in Chicago.

Sorry this is from KFFL not my own research. They managed to get Trent on pretty quick though.

The funniest thing is that if you are in another city looking at that list Edwards is on top of the list.

I really do think he'll get picked up in the Bay Area.

Don't even worry about picking up a QB. If Fitz and Brohm get injured let Parrish play QB. What's the objective here? Win or get the #1 overall pick?

Maybe Jeff Garcia

Just my guess, but I think the most likely move is signing Levi Brown to the PS. The Bills will either then elevate another PS player, or cut him and sign a free agent to another position of need.

Not that it should be a surprise to anyone, and not that I expected him to be cut so soon, but I really thought after his latest demotion, Edwards was on borrowed time in Buffalo. He'd had all the chances to turn his game around that he was going to get.

Think O'Connell was resigned by the Jets

Wouldn't bother.. I'm thinking Levi Brown will be here very shortly. Plus, didn't Schefter report that already?

Id at least look at a PS guy. I went to every teams page and checked their rosters... heres the full list:

Ravens- Hunter Cantwell
GB- Graham Harrell
Indy- Tom Brandstater
Jax- Brett Ratliff
KC- Tyler Palko
NYG- Rhett Bomar
SF- Nate Davis
Sea- Zac Robinson
STL- Thaddeus Lewis

Out of that, Harrell, Robinson, and Nate Davis stood out to me. And to me, any of those three should garner a comparison at least with Levi Brown.

Maybe Jeff Garcia

He signed exclusive to play in that UFL league.
He was so pissed not 1 NFL team picked him up...

Honestly, I didnt even know about Edwards getting cut until much after it happened and that was only because of a few texts. I been in Lockport court all day today, tomorrow and likely Wednesday as a murder case that's personal to me winds down and concludes (hopefully).

Technically, UFL guys are tied to the team until the end of the season. There is a window of opportunity to go to an NFL camp that has already passed. I wonder if an NFL team could buy a guy from the UFL if they really wanted him, or is the contract iron clad? So if they want Culpepper, McCown or Garcia, they probably have to wait until the UFL season ends.

If there's any truth in the rumour that fat boy Russell has got in shape and is getting his head sorted he might be worth a look for the rest of the season.

Sign Nate Davis!!!!!!!!!!!

I read he has a learning disability. I don't think that is funny, and am not making light, but do we really need that right now? A QB with a learning disability?

I will say I do like his arm, but Jamawwwwkus and Losman had big arms too.

Colt Brennan? Where is that old boy?

I'd take a flyer on bringing Brown back (Levi, not Travis) over any of those FA's or practice squad guys.
