Should we stop the Jeff Garcia talk?

Two calls to the radio and at least one post (today) here.

    Jeff Garcia??

    He's 40 and hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL since 2008.

For all the education and practice each of us undergoes, the achievment of mastery is ultimately the outcome of a personal quest for understanding.

His value is not in his ability to actually execute on the field anymore.

As I said to the response to that particular post, the UFL and NFL don't poach each other's contracts, and I don't think the Omaha Nighthawks are going to cough up their starter. He'd have to wait until November to join the team.

He, too, is in the UFL-- though not as a player, as a broadcaster.
