Can we please get the real contract details for Marshawn Lynch?

I've read in so many different places that Marshawn's contract expires after this season. Then I've heard from a couple other sites that it doesn't expire until after the 2011 season. Then this article came out in the D&C today and it said that he's a free agent after the season. This would make him much harder to trade. What is the real truth?

Leo: What about Marshawn Lynch? Isn't he on your hit list?

Sal: Well, sure, why not? He's a free agent at the end of the year. C.J. Spiller is their future, and Fred Jackson is signed for another two years to be the backup. Lynch has run well. Trade him now while he may have value.

I think he has a player-option for a 5th year - which pretty much means he'll be a free agent after this year.

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) — Running back Marshawn Lynch, the Buffalo Bills' first-round draft pick, agreed Thursday night to a five-year contract worth nearly $19 million, his agent told the Associated Press.
The team then confirmed the signing on Friday morning.

Unless he hit some incentive that knocked off a year, he's under contract through 2011

That would explain it. I was wondering why so many people thought he had another season...but if it's a player's option, then of course he's going to opt out after the year.

upon further research, I think he signed a six year contract that voids to 5.. I think there's no way he's not under contract for this season and next (whether that happens to be next year or 2012)

He signed a 6-year deal that voids to 5. That means he is under contract through next season, not a free agent after this year.

I knew there was a voidable year in there somewhere

He's absolutely under contract for at least 1 more season.
