he's also the oldest guy in the secondary and he's had years of playing kick returner and #1 CB. He's a good soldier. i feel like he plays through the pain a lot. Mcgee gets a free pass in my book.

I always felt McGee was one of the most under-appreciated guys of this decade.

Having said that, we extended the wrong CB, the man is a trooper, but things aren't looking good with his knee. It appears chronic, not a good sign.

He's as tough as they come in the secondary. He could be out all year if he wants for what he's been through here.

That being said - McKelvin is better, anyway.

It's easy to underrate great players when they play for a pile of crap team their entire careers'. Schobel, McGee, and Evans all would be superstars if they were drafted in say Dallas, New England, or PA.

I'm glad McKelvin is playing, but I was hoping it would be in replacement of Florence, who has been a pile of crap so far this season.

Revis out, so let's sit McGee.

Anyways, Sanchez will still throw 3 picks.

                  Nicely put.

I recall that when he was drafted he was considered the premier collegiate returner (I was very surprised that BUF waited a couple of years to implement him there), and that it was felt that his best position coming out, was at safety.

that's primarily due to the different demands placed on a cb in a 3-4 vs a tampa 2... in a tampa 2 the best CBs often are quick little midgets... who cover a lot of space and break on the ball like lightning. in a 3-4 you often want a little more size on the CB because most of their time will be playing man. Florence is just a better zone defender then he is a man on man cb.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

                    MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

He's the Chris Kelsay of the secondary...except Kelsay isn't always hurt.

                      Just busting balls.

Too bad. I like Florence, but I am not a Corner fan, so we'll get to see too much Florence if Sanchise decides to go to air game again.

As deep as we are, and in a game that we likely will get beat anyways, I'm not that concerned. I am concerned about how often our damn players seem to get injured.
