Yea, but it's still just preseason.

Hopefully we open up on Friday with some ass kicking.

Who was in net for Philly? Backlund and Bobrovski...#3 and #4 on the depth chart.

They won the division last year and not much has changed from that team. They can't really "trent edwards" their preseason when they've had past success.

they lost their two most experienced defensemen. That's "not much" in your book?

Nope. They replaced them with two younger guys that have had similar production in the previous two years.

Given my druthers I would have wanted to keep one of the two - they knew the system.

I really didn't lose sleep over it.

I wasn't a fan of either player, especially given what they're being paid by Anaheim and Jersey.

On top of that, before Myers showed up last year, Tallinder was all sorts of awful. People keep forgetting that.

Morrisonn's going to be a great partner for Myers.

i would have liked to keep tallinder. he paired well with myers and would have given myers some continuity.

oh well. let's lace them up on friday and see where it all shakes out. at least we aren't facing a 0-82 season....Famous last words.

Sabres are going to be good.
From what I hear in camp this team is motivated and want to prove they are better then that early exit last year....
