Miami Dolphins coach Tony Sparano announced he has "moved on" from special teams coach John Bonamego, replacing him with special teams assistant Darren Rizzi.

Special teams breakdowns came in a "tidal wave" on Monday night in a 41-14 loss to the New England Patriots, Sparano said after the game, but this had been an ongoing problem.

"This was a tough decision," Sparano said. "I thank Bono for all he's done. Players need to take responsibility too."

Last night was a disaster, idk what to think of this team now. Special teams was only part of the problem. We broke down in all facets of the game.

Actually both our teams got beat by the Fat ******ed boy with Athsma (Rex Ryan) and the ambiguously gay boy (Brady)

I wrote last week before this game that the Dolphins were simply pretenders and I stand by it.

Doesn't change the fact that the Bills are the worst team in...well...ever.

I think it was more a case of the final straw. Miami hadn't been happy with their ST before, but last night was so embarrassing they decided heads had to roll. If it was just an aberration, he probably would still be there.

I thought it was pretty obvious in week 1... when the fins struggled to beat a god awful bills football team.

the fins are mediocre... they'll probably finish the year at or around 8-8 9-7 at best, 6-10 at worst... that's a team that's not going to the playoffs.

I think we have a lot of talent on the team, cause when it is going right we look pretty good, but for some reason, in play and coaching, we have alot of metal break downs, and it seems as soon as something negative happens, everything starts to fall apart.
