So Im actually surprised..I can see how this kid stuck on the roster. Great size, good hands, runs good routes even though he isnt a burner...seems like a good possession receiver and Im excited to hopefully see him get more targets in our offense.

Just thought I'd throw something positive out there, and he's one of the few things I could think of!

I'd like to see Nelson get a lot more playing time. I think he has more potential than Sevie Johnson, who isn't bad, either. I just like Nelson better.

the scouts do better on UDFAs then in the actual draft

He's been OK so far, but I could see him and Fitz developing a connection. He was key to the one TD drive we had before the half, and Fitz seems to trust him.

The guy is the Matt Cassel of WR. Backup on his college team, much better as a pro.

Shows why scouting is such an inexact science.

And I thought this was going to be an Ozzie and Harriet rerun thread....

Our scouts are finding the talent and evaluating it properly. The only problem is, they're not given the opportunity until the big guy gets bored.

I want to see him as the #2. He already seems better than Steve Johnson and Roscoe Parrish is more of a #3 WR.
