the patriots know how to get mileage out of their players. Well coached team with well coached players...
they know when to cut bait, and they are set up for a full rebuild in a season or 2.

If the typical competent NFL team hits on 50% of their draft picks, then the logical plan is to play the odds and get twice as many draft picks.
That way, through rounds 1 through 4, the Pats expect to hit on 4 players (50% of 8 picks) whereas everyone else hits on 2.
Simple, yet brilliant.Still searching for that offensive rhythm.
