hey it wouldn't be a bad idea to drop some more bums and fill there back up roles with these guys. nothing we do will translate to wins this year. PERIOD. but weeding out the bums and bringing in fresh meat might help to shift the culture in the locker room. (the culture being sucking major doney balls..... all the time). these guys may be bums to BUT other nfl teams bums may be light years better than the ones on this "nfl" team.:monkeyp: :violin:

Would love to give Barnes a try, and considering what we have (or don't have I should say), Thomas wouldn't be too bad too. With that said, I don't expect us to do anything, b/c it would make sense.

Read the article on NFL.com. Couldn't make headway on offensive PT despite a "wide-open" competition at #2 WR, a situation yet muddled for them. Sound familiar haha? Shanahan also dogged him for his work ethic.

My first feeling was Barnes would be worth a look, but not Thomas.
On second glance, it seems as though Thomas has had some production, so may not be quite as 'bad' as advertised. Obviously a lot depends on reasons why guys got cut.
Seems to me atm, there are a lot of 'questionable work ethic' types getting the heave-ho, and there have been enough 'reports' about Thomas being in that vein, for there to possibly be substance to it. As such, he probably doesn't make much sense, but I'm less convinced the issues are purely talent based.
