I am sorry Bills fans. This is a terrible situation. You all deserve better. Who would have thought that the day of Home Run Throwback that we would never return to the playoffs. Or that the loss to the Steelers the last game of the year in 2004 was the last legit chance to return to the playoffs.
There is nothing better than going to games in Buffalo. I do not live there, but would travel once a year to see a game. I have not gone since 2004. I do not have the money anymore in my life. However, I do know but know the people deserve a winner.
What I love about Buffalo is it is about FOOTBALL. Fans battle weather and a tough economy to support that team.
At the end of the day, we don't have talent. I blame Mr. Wilson for running off strong talent evaluators over the years. Whether we liked EVERY move or not is irrelevant. The late John Butler, A.J.Smith, Tom Donahoe these guys understood gathering talent. They sure would not have missed on the picks that they have over the past few years.
It is obvious that Wilson has his hands in the football decisions. From draft picks to cutting off free agent funds, he has killed this team.
He deserves credit for keeping the team in Buffalo. However, if another owner was in place and committed to win, the team would go nowhere. Why? The awesome community would support the team with incredible zeal.
I do not know what to say. It will not get better until the front office is run like it 2010 NOT 1975.
