All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Maybe. We need a defense first and foremost I think. If we had played any defense the past few weeks we would have won. Prime example: Patriots and Jags games.
Problem with Fitz is, although he is playing well, pretty soon his over throws and sailing passes will turn into picks.
If what we've learned over the past few weeks with Fitzy under the helm is that the offense can score points and sustain drives to an extent. It's the TOP that other offenses are getting that is absolutely ****ing killing us. The 3-4 D needs either a competent coordinator who KNOWS HOW TO BLITZ or needs the right signal caller (Lewis, et ceteraesque) who can recognize offenses and force a damn punt.
The offense has it's weapons. Johnson and Evans are good. Nelson will need to prove himself. The line hasn't been terrible (cept Green). The defense needs the biggest retooling.
I think we're worse at RT than LT. If you can replace our defensive front seven with a top five set of defensive linemen and linebackers, maybe, but Fitz needs a very strong team around him to be able to win consistently. I have a very low opinion of Fitz. There is just too high a risk that he's going to throw a wild pass at a critical moment that is going to end up in the hands of a surprised DB.
I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.
I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.
Agreed, Oaf. We can't ultimately get where we want to be with Fitz. We can win some games with him, but if we want to win our division and compete in the playoffs, we need to develop a legit starter.
Fitz is a great back-up, but he cannot be developed much beyond where he is now, IMO.
Stick Fitzpatrick on the Steelers, Jets, or the Ravens and he would go far. We are just so far away from that. We need lightning in a bottle. What it comes down to is whether or not we think Luck is that once in a bluemoon prospect at QB. He has to be special. If not i want to stick with Fitz and just try to build the D.

Johnson? For years Schobel was blasted as being a garbage time sack maters (not necessarily true), yet Johnson is good? Yeah, He's good when the game is already won by the opponent, and he gets to run free in a prevent defense. Otherwise, he's non-existent. Nelson at least has made some plays when the game was still not a sealed deal. I'll take the kid, David Nelson.
