I couldnt stand Losman when he was here, but now that im looking at the QBs, and the way Gailey runs offenses. Was he the type that Gailey wanted? Gailey seems to look for 3 things, a leader, mobile, and strong arm. As much as strong arm hasnt fit the QBs weve had so far, it seems that he is really wanting to throw Brohm in at the 1st sign of issue for Fitz, and with Brown being drafted who is a leader, mobile, and strong armed, it seems that Losman would of been what Gailey wanted. Think of the other QB that did well under him, Kordel Stewart, hmmm also Tyler Thigpen. Both had these 3 characteristics, and im sorry that im digging in the past, but it sort of makes me wonder, would Evans be sucking as much as he is this year? Would we still be looking for another 300 yd QB?
Was Losman perfect for Gailey?

Re: Was Losman perfect for Gailey?
Losman is on the street, so they can sign him if they really want him. I'm not sure how much he can help, considering Buffalo, Oakland and Seattle all gave up on him.
Losman is terrible. He had no feel for the position and had poor command of an offense. He may have all the physical skills in the world, but he was a crappy QB.Last edited by Ickybaluky; 10-14-2010, 10:05 AM.

Re: Was Losman perfect for Gailey?
i'm not a "losman was ruined by bad coaching" guy, but assuming you buy that...i've seen nothing from gailey that suggests he knows offense inside and out. I see nothing that would provide losman time in the pocket. I see nothing that would roll losman out more to take advantage of his athleticness.
i think he'd be destined to follow the same ugly pattern.
if the bills thought they had a near coup on their hands for the kelsay signing, i dare them to send a v text saying we brought losman back.
