Last month, UFL investor and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban talked up the upstart pro football league as having a talent level that "is off the charts" and that it's "pretty much hand-in-hand with anything you're gonna get from the NFL."
On Thursday, Las Vegas Locos coach Jim Fassel offered a more realistic assessment.
"I can't speak for the other teams, but I think the lower part of the NFL -- teams that have struggled this year - yeah, I think it would be a good game," Fassel told reporters on a conference call, via FanHouse.com.
Later that same day, Sacramento Mountain Lions coach Dennis Green was even more realistic. "It's like the Rams playing against Ohio State," Green said of the difference between the UFL and the NFL.
Of course, this year the biggest question would be whether to take the Bills and the points.

I'd take the best UFL team over us right now.
