    Deion Branch

Anyone notice that this guy is relevant again, as of yesterday.

I don't care who the Pats have playing wr., As long as Brady is there he will make them work.

    Rb's and wr's are a dime a dozen.
The Bills have their chance at their franchise qb in the coming draft. They better not get stupid.

I agree...but we also need an OL. The Ravens pass rush rarely got to Brady, and he had all sorts of time in the pocket. If we can get a QB and an OL that looks like that, we'll be pretty well set on offense.

Or is it because he is on the Pats? He has been pretty consistent over his career. Nobody cares about the Seahawks like they do the Pats. Especially ESPN.

He basically went to Seattle for a couple of years and did next to nothing.
First game back with Brady and he has nine catches.

The Pats are the best I have ever seen at plugging in players - guys who were mediocre elsewhere, or older, or in their 2nd stint with the team - and getting key productivity from them.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Oh to have a system like that.

That is one of, if not the biggest, benefits to continuity.

I wonder how much of a product of that system Tommy is. He is talented, but all of the time you need to allow for plays to come together...even fall apart, and come back together sure helps.

As far as the offense for our team...I think Gailey, once he gets the players he wants, could be productive. It is just a matter of getting the right schemes in place and keeping them there.

they may have some misses like Adalius Thomas but for the most part, they still can make chicken salad with crap.

                  What about 08 and 09 ?
The point is it doesn't matter who Brady has at wr. It's about the qb.

They trade Moss and they don't miss a beat. They won a Super Bowl with a bunch of no name wr's.

So why wouldn't we use our #1 pick on a qb again ?

He was injured, you're going to be critical of the guy because he got hurt?

Again, Branch is a decent wr, far from a star.
With Brady he will look much better again, due to the fact he has a great qb getting him the ball.
                      As you saw testerday.

                          Re: Deion Branch

I'm sure he was hurt for four years in Seattle.
And now he is magically healed as of yesterday.

The point is you can't win big w/o a qb and the Bills will be in position to take one next draft.

Marino, Farve, Elway, Manning, have made many receivers look good also.
