Program assists players in adjusting to NFL life
Flowery Branch -- While they might be accomplishing it anyway, it is not the Falcons' goal to get their rookies ready for the debutante ball. Rather, the team aims to equip its first-year players with non-playing skills required to adjust to NFL life. The Falcons do it through a two-week, eight-lesson program. "Falcons University" was mandatory for rookies and open to veterans.

Said Bryan Scott, the team's second-round pick, "It's aspects of life that you really need to learn about. I know it's going to apply to all of us."
