All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
This is only a test
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

bb.com has an article explaining how Wang's hand is healing well and the team has been playing him at guard. What the hell is the infatuation with having seventy guards on the team? Seems like we've seen every player picked up and signed whether practice squad or playing roster 80% of them are guards.
Could OBD be preparing to move Wood to Center, LeVitre to Left Tackle Wrotto to Right Tackle, and Wang and Urbik to Guard? I don't understand besides having depth what they are up to...
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?
Speculation on my part here, never played football: Is gaurd an easier position to play than tackle? Start them on gaurd, move to tackle? Or is our talent level just not there to where have guys that can be mediocre gaurds?

Levitre is not a OT prospect. He never was. He is short, 6'2, and has short arms. Levitre will never play OT.
Told ya a couple of weeks ago he was practicing exclusively at guard.. The Bills dont like to talk about it, surprised by this article, though it's published because he is close to playing, or at least physically being able to.
so we drafted a tackle because we needed a tackle and we netted a guard, when we had two starting guards.
This sounds like a net loss to me
In Nix's defense, it's not like he was a second rounder being converted. He was a fifth rounder, which are often projects, and that's exactly what Wang is becoming.
I got a feeling Eric Wood is going to be moved to center at some point, either this season or next season.
can levitre be a good NFL tackle if him and wang switched?
I guess you can never say never, but I'm pretty sure the Bills dont see him at tackle. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure you'd see Urbik in the starting lineup at guard and Levitre switched to OT so he'd start instead of Cordaro Howard.
Especially during a bye week when the Bills would have had two weeks to prepare for their next game (Baltimore)
Part of the Bills OL problems is they got guys who can play multiple positions on the line, but aren't great at any of them.
Levitire can play guard or tackle.
Howard was a guard and now he's been moved to tackle
Wood is a guard and can play center
Hangartner can play any of the interior spots and had in Carolina
Wang is a tackle being converted to guard.

If Wood's not careful, he's going to get moved to the bench. The guy has been brutal this year and looks like he hasn't fully recovered from the injury.

I used to play O-line in high school. Guard is generally easier to play than tackle. The tackles, especially on the left side, have to be very fast and catch pass rushers in their stride. Guards just have to push.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is due to a couple reasons: 1) they simply want him to learn multiple positions because they see him as a valuable future backup, 2) they're preparing for an influx of OT's in the coming offseason, 3) they're comfortable with Bell/Howard/Green/Wrotto at OT, and not as comfortable with their OG's.
