Pats' Weis eyes college position
Patriots offensive coordinator Charlie Weis, who has never hidden his desire to become a head coach, has thrown his name into the mix for the University of Washington head coaching post.
The Washington job is in flux after coach Rick Neuheisel was tendered a letter of termination from the university stemming from his participation in a high-stakes NCAA basketball pool. Neuheisel is challenging the action.
Many observers in Washington expect offensive coordinator Keith Gilbertson to get the job. Gilbertson already has been granted supervisory duties over the team....
