What do you all think about Jared Gaither? He's on IR right now but he's been a solid guy for the Ravens until they had a contract dispute.

As long as he doesn't want a ridiculously fat contract, yes. Can you give o-linemen incentive structured contracts?

Depends on whether he's still got anything left. He's young, but the Ravens dropping him makes one wonder.

It would probably work if he were healthy and this team were actually a player or 2 from being competitive. But I just don't see that realistically. Also, the constant emphasis by both Gailey and Nix to build through the draft tells me not to expect that they will go after a Gaither even if available via trade which he isn't. JMO

Granted, he's a much more talented player than Jamon Meredith, whom the Bills recently cut, but he's got some of the same issues. While he's athletic and talented, he's known to be lazy and not to have a great attitude. I'm not saying to stay away from him necessarily, but you have to know what you're getting.
