per pregame on 97Rock.

Gailey was quoted as saying Aaron needs to prove in practice that he belongs on the field on Sundays....and he hasn't done that.

I just got the text and started laughing. Sent it to all of my friends. The responses were:

"LOL Maybin"
"We are giving up on maybin? Buffalo is such an amateur org"
"what a waste... Bust"

Why is Carrington inactive? Does he suck too?

what a waste of a pick orakpo should have been a no brainer

Just cut him and be done with it. We don't need to be reminded what a terrible pick he was every time we read/hear his name called.

Why is Carrington inactive? Does he suck too?

Maybe right now.

But I don't think or read too much into rookies being inactive. Yeah, he's a 3rd rounder, probably should be playing and contributing a little.

But he gets a grace period with me.

The #11 pick from 2009, however,............

Why is Carrington inactive? Does he suck too?I continue to be unimpressed by our picks from rounds 2 on. Maybin... Uggghhh, what are we gonna do with you.

Why is this not yet another reason to get Merriman when released? Merriman is his friend and could help develop him.

Hearing that Maybin isn't playing makes me want to put another 6969 :zb: on the game.

What a joke. Isn't he from Baltimore, well, maybe he can sit with family and friends.

Two former first round D-lineman inactive. Talk about a waste of money.

We could have had Oher and Mangold anchoring our O-line instead with those picks.

I'm with TacklingDummy, just cut these fools already.

every Bills player is presumed to suck until he proves otherwise.

With Oher and Ngata on the field today, it's the Could Have Been Bills Bowl

TD is correct they just need to end this and be done with it. The drafting this org has done is nothing short of a disgrace. I cannot believe how anyone responsible/associated for or with these picks over the past several years is still employed.

Orakpo was a better prospect for a reason. I still cant believe we picked Maybin over Orakpo.

He's young, I think he's used improperly (get his hand out of the dirt), he can turn it around, but he's done nothing so far.

I gave my balls a healthy scratch this morning.

The thing is I have 1 sack, Maybin has 0.

I'm going to do the unthinkable and spin this in a positive way.

Under Jauron, there would have been no way that Maybin would have been a healthy scratch. At least Gailey (Nix) are smart enough to cut their losses.

(besides Maybin was Jauron's boy)

Wow! I didn't think we would find a bigger bust since Erik Flowers...looks like I was wrong! Aaron Maybin is the ultimate bust! :puke:

Yeah, Flowers couldn't rush the passer but at least he was able to stop the run a little. Plus he wasn't buffoonish like Maybin is.

Disgraceful. How Modrak still has a job is beyond me.

Mike Williams has him trumped still in my mind.
That's only because Mike Williams was a top 5 pick.

And he wasn't the 11th overall pick.

Everyone on this board wanted Orakpo over Maybin.

Mike Williams has him trumped still in my mind.
Mike Williams, with the proper adjustments, was at least marginally useful-- something that Maybin never will be.
