In the race for the #1 draft pick that is. :schmoll:

Seriously though, what are the chances that we don't pick another huge bust. Have you looked at our recent 1st round draft history?

2009 #11 Aaron Maybin
2008 #11 Leodis McKelvin
2007 #12 Marshawn Lynch
2006 #8 Donte Whitner
2005 #23 Roscoe Parish
2004 #13 Lee Evans
2003 #23 Willis McGahee
2002 #4 Mike Williams
2001 #21 Nate Clements
2000 #26 Erik Flowers

We aren't exactly hitting any homeruns. I'd say 3 out of 10 are complete busts another 3-4 aren't living up to expectations to say the least. 5 out of 10 aren't even here any more.

I don't know how much more of this misery I can take.

I'd rather take a defensive stud like Clayborn with our 1st pick and Gabbert in the 2nd than take Locker #1 overall.

It will be a step in the right direction if they pick someone that actually see's the field. If they don't get a rookie cap in place Ralph will order the pick traded anyway :laughter:

If Locker was making those same throws as Fitz yesterday, he'd have at least 5 INT's.

Can we stop talking about the draft? It's October, there's still a lot of football to be played both in college and the NFL. After yesterday's game I'm looking forward to see what the rest of the season brings for the Bills.

Well, our history of first overall is so-so.

O.J. Simpson, Ken Rice, Walt Patulski, Tom Cousineau, and a guy named Bruce Smith.
