Oct. 24, 2010 5:27 p.m. - WR Steve Johnson on scoring five TDs the past three games – three more than he had during the previous 18 games combined: “If not now, when will I take advantage and find a role in the NFL?”

Oct. 24, 2010 5:37 p.m. - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick on WR Steve Johnson, who had 10 catches for 158 yards and a TD: “He's been my guy since I got to Buffalo. He's a tough guy to cover.” Bills RapidReports

Nice to see Stevie Johnson coming so far this season, when many were ready to write him off. Call me a homer, cause I have been since day 1 (heck, I got his jersey weeks after he was drafted!) But I always said he would be something in the NFL, and blame it on him, coaching, whatever, but he always put in the work and its paying off for him and for this team.

But this shows today with even an average QB throwing the ball, the WR's here can make plays. Even more, when your #2 can do what Stevie has done this season, #83 can shine also. Stevie setup #83 for success today, which worked vice versa also. Throw in Roscoe and Nelson and this team has a solid young WR core for the future, and don't forget we got Easley on IR

I'd be surprised if we see that much man to man from anybody else the rest of the season.

If they double #13 that leaves #11, #83, #86, #89, and #21 in single. Can't cover them all right? Seeing how #21, #20, #31, #26, #52 looked like they had shoes made of cement when Stevie juked them out I am not worried. Nice to have a threat opposite Lee huh?

They won't double him, but they won't put an average corner man-up with no help on him either.

Then we make them pay with other guys, and hope #13 can still make some plays.

Thing is, #13 appreciates and has earned every opportunity the hard way. Nothing was handed to him and he is taking advantage of it.

I like the fact that Easley will be in the mix next year. Of course I have no idea how he will see the field if Evans, Stevie, and Parrish keep performing. But that's a good problem to have.

Lets not forget Parrish who's having a career year under Gailey.
