    Is our tackle problem fixed?

No ones is thinking about taking a tackle in the 1 st, or second round. Do you think we found are future tackels?

I think Bell has made a lot of progress, and that Howard shows promise. If both continue to develop, we will not have to use a high pick on the O-line.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Im absolutely thinking about an OT in round 2. I would be in round 1 but none are worthy of a high 1st IMO.

But, I'd love to land a guy like Carimi in round 2.

But, I'm feeling better about Bell all the time. And Howard was a bright spot so who knows.

            Terrence Pennington looked good too.

Howard's played one game. He needs to do this the rest of the year before we even begin to think about being complacent on the Oline. Not to mention Bell isn't anything better than average at LT right now.

I think that with Bell and Howard starting to develop, we need D-linemen and linebackers a whole lot more.

I could agree. I just want to wait and see how Howard and Bell play the rest of the season. If it's still as good or better, I would be inclined to move that position down a bit. DL and LB are big needs I agree.

Re: Is our tackle problem fixed?

Bell was always a guy that people really liked because of his potential, but when we drafted him it also seemed understood that he was raw and would need time to develop. The problem has been that Bills fans have been so frustrated with the teams play, and rightfully so, that no one gets a chance to develop and grow anymore. Wanting all our players to be good right from the get go would be great, but it's just not realistic.

We need a lot of players on this team. Pick a position and your bound to find someone in agreement with you, except for maybe running back. JMO

I can give you a firm. . . "maybe" on that question. I agree with Jan. Right now, d-linemen and linebackers is a more accute and obvious need.

It's not one game for Bell. He's getting better every week. Hopefully, that continues. We obviously need to see more from Howard, but this past Sunday was encouraging. If the line continues to improve, it's going to be a strength of the team going forward.
