So anyone have any thoughts on this kid? I know absolutely nothing about him but am watching the game.

I've pondered why people are so high on him. Don't see anything impressive.

This doesn't appear to be haiku, either in terms of lines using 5-7-5 syllables, or the more traditional Japanese "ons."

I want Luck, but if Luck doesn't come out, Mallett and Locker make me nervous. At that point, I'd be inclined to draft OL and DL and take Ponder later on, and groom him with Fitz.

At this point, I agree. Locker and Mallett do not look like top-5 picks.

if i was his dad i would be advising him to stay in college too especially since it looked like he was going to be drafted by the lowly bills.

People get real. This Bills wouldn't consider taking Ponder with their first pick. He would only be a cosideration later in the draft. So the, "take Luck" comments are silly. It's not a matter of taking Ponder versus Luck with their first pick.

Well obviously we will be drafting a QB somewhere. If we draft Luck then no Ponder and vice versa. I don't think anyone here is suggesting taking Ponder in the 1st round.

Maybe if he's lucky he can get drafted by the awesome Raider franchise too.
