Maybin a healthy scratch again.......McGee also still out

Aaron Maybin wanted to dress up as football player today for Halloween, but Chan Gailey said "no." He's inactive again, along with CB Terrence McGee, LB Antonio Coleman, OL Ed Wang, OL Cornell Green, DE Alex Carrington, DE John McCargo.

Why is McCargo still on this team? Hopefully Carrington can get some reps this season. This defense can't get any worse so I don't know why we don't at least play him a little bit.

In a way, I feel bad for Maybin. He is a very young, immature guy with expectations he could not possibly meet. He is an athletic guy, but much too small to be a linebacker or an end.

We will just have to pay him not to play and cut our losses.

I think he saw a decent amount of PT a few weeks ago, but hasn't been playing since the bye.

Is Wang still bouncing back from injury or what? I've been wanting to see Carrington more as well but apparently that's not happening this week either.

              He already achieved my expectations.

I don't feel bad for HIM, he's a millionaire. I feel bad for US who made him a millionaire and have nothing to show for it.

Right Madmax, I should have said the situation stinks rather than I feel bad for the millionaire.

Cut both of them (McGee and Maybin) who cares? seriously...Maybin is a complete joke and Terrence McGee plays 30% of the schedule each year.

also, glad to see we made a solid selection in the 3rd round! This draft class looks to be stellar!

He was a solid cheerleader on the sidelines.

I'd still rather see Maybin play than Kelsay.

Agreed. Every time I see Kelsay not make a play I'm just really annoyed.

As much as Maybin sucks, I agree they might as well give him the playing time over Kelsay. He is young and may have some upside.
