Fitz was never the answer. I'd roll the dice on a top QB anyday of the week.

Luck, Mallet, Locker, Ponder, Gab whoever is ranked number 1 consensus. I want OUR BRADFORD. Look at how they have instantly improved.

He is what he is. He just is not the answer as a franchise QB. And I rather roll the nice thru draft and hope we find HIM. In Fitz it is 0% chance as Franchise QB

Ryan Fitzpatrick is who we thought he was....a great backup and NOTHING more.

Funny isn't it ?
Anybody who doesn't think we need to take a qb is clueless.

This board is comical.

We'll take Christian Ponder if Gailey is here.

He fits Gaileys offensive style.

Last week the board wanted to extend Fitz and were bragging bout his QB rating being 2nd in nfl only to Manning. I bet it dropped to 8th in one game. They wanted to draft a defensive player when we finally get a top pick!

He's the perfect fit for the offense Gailey is trying to run.

We don't run a pro-style offense so any QB who plays in or projects to be a pro-style QB doesn't fit here.

Tell me about it...this game is exactly what Fitz is...a mediocre QB who will have a big game every now and then. He is 100% not the answer for the Bills at the QB position!

Not true...Gailey is known to build his offense around the QB playing in it. Get a top flight talent at QB and watch how that player succeeds under Gailey. Just look at what he's done for Fitz...he's actually become a better backup because of Gailey.

He does? Is Edwards or Fitzpatrick a spread QB?

That's the offense we've played all year.

He's gonna draft a QB and other players that fit his system.

Yes...Fitz is capable of playing in the spread because of his ability to run. Edwards is garbage and no offense will help him.

Plus...he utilized Thigpen in an offense that worked for him, he tailored the offense around Kordell Stewart and so on and so on.

Are you saying that he won't pick Luck if he's there because he's not a "spread" QB? Really???

Yes, really.

He doesn't fit the offense.

Round peg, square hole.

I also believe that's why the Bills had no interest in Claussen in Rd2 this past draft. And why the only QB they had a real interest in was Tebow.

Why? Tebow would have been a fit for the offense Chan planned to install.

You're nuts...if Luck comes out and the Bills have the first pick, he will be a Bill.

If Gailey is fired or is forced to relinquish control of the offense, I agree.

As things stand today there is 0% likelihood Luck will be a Bill.

Are you saying Gailey wouldn't want Luck as his QB because you perceive Luck to be slow and immobile?

I can't determine if you're rolling schtick, like Tackling Dummy and his Barkley manlove, or if you truly believe this.

I hope it's the former.

I'm saying that he's more likely to take a QB that fits his system than one who does not.

Be that Jake Locker or Christian Ponder.

Coaches bring guys in that fit their system.

Why would Gailey pick a pro style QB to run a spread offense? It won't work.

I'm saying we're more likely to draft Ponder because we're actually actively scouting the guy.

Luck is head and shoulders above the "system" guys and if he decides to come out the hype train will start picking up a full head of steam, forcing Wilson to make the right call, even if Gailey were dumb enough to not want to make it.

Wilson has clearly tampered before...he'll certainly tamper on this call.

you sir, don't know what you're talking about. as it stands today, if luck decides to come out. he will 100% be the bills' draft pick.
