i didn't read the article, but if the bills end up 1-15 and say the cowboys end up 1-15, with few, if any common opponents, would the type breaker be strength of schedule?

You got in before I did.

Trap, if you're talking about draft picks, the first tiebreaker is always SOS. I think after that they flip a coin.

It didn't take a great deal to figure out that Buffalo's had a killer schedule so far. KC was supposed to be a cream puff based on their wins and losses last year, but it didn't turn out that way. Even Jacksonville figured by pundits to really have a struggle this season is 4-4, the worst team Buffalo has faced. None of that matters until the draft though. A tough schedule doesn't get you any brownie points.

I think Buffalo would be Dallas, SF and Carolina. We'll see if they can beat Cleveland.

it is destiny that we will end up winning a game or 2 and drafting 4th or 5th. Nothing can ever go right for this franchise

I never liked the "tougher schedule" excuse. This is the NFL and in the NFL they play professional football. Every week is a hard week for every team. Its just that some teams make poorer choices than others.

In trying to create a higher level of competition, the NFL already overcompensates for teams playing poorly by pitting them up against "like" opponents in cross divisional games.

Bottom line is that someone has to finish first and someone has to finish last. Those that repeatedly make poor off season decisions often finish on the bottom end. Which, in turn, makes every opponent a difficult one.

The Bills have no one to blame but themselves.
