No, no he wasn't. Green is terrible...Howard has at least shown some capability.

And Howard is a rookie, not a 34 year old veteran.

Howard was bad, but he wasn't worse than Green. Green is ****ing HORRENDOUS.

Green was as bad as he was because he was hurt and the staff kept putting him out there anyways.

And yes, Howard looked even worse last week.

Is there perchance a multiple-year IR that they put him on?

at least howard is probably stronger and has more energy, younger etc and will get better with playing time, green is washed up.

Was there a game where Green was actually fully fit? Note, that isn't making excuses for him, more like adding to the plethora of reasons why he gets to go on IR.
Continuity is a big plus for an O-Line, and we might get that more with Howard coming in. Green did ok on some of his run blocking assignments, but was a disaster area when it came to pass protection.
He was also a guaranteed 5 yard penalty, at some point when we least wanted it. ;(

Green won't dress in a Bills uniform ever again.

This guy is done.

Anyone know how much he stole from the Bills for roughly 1/2 year of play with bonus money included?

What are you talking about? The final offensive play of the game for the Bills was sunk bc of him.

Blame the GM for signing a guy who was damaged goods and then blame the coaching staff to continue to put him out there.

It's not like Green was a world beater at Tackle or anything but it should have been obvious to everyone that he wasn't 100% week 1.

He received his $1.5M salary this year as part of a 3 Yr/$9M contract. No signing bonus was reported but the salaries in the contract add up to $5.7M, so the signing bonus could be a maximum of $3.3M. I doubt it is that much, as it could include a roster bonus at some point.

I think Green was definitely effected by injury. He hurt his knee in early August and it probably effected his play since. He was known as a strong drive blocker in the run game, and that didn't materialize in Buffalo. He has always been a weak pass-protector and has a penchant for taking lots of dumb penalties, but the drive blocking did not show up like it did in the past.
