This was always a main goal of tolerating the sucking this season.

Especially when Nix comes out and says, "The team will be rebuilding through the draft, so fans have to be patient. It's going to be painful, but will pay off in the long run."

Ya know, people can say what they want about Nix, but I have to commend him on one thing in particular - he has been very honest with us from day one. He doesn't sugar-coat and he doesn't use coach/GM speak to cover up what he's trying to say. I may not agree with all of his decisions, but he's basically done exactly what he said he was going to do.

Going to agree. Tyrone McKenzie (Pats) was a guy who was cut and was drafted in the 3rd round. He cleared waivers and they put him on the PS.
