Not really, just give the usual BS that he is happy to be part of such a great organization, cant wait to get on the field and help a struggling team, very excited to be in buffalo, has heard a lot of great things about the fans, and the energy they bring.

He will be introduced to the media and take questions and what not. Outstanding. I wonder what he feels about having to change Jersey numbers.

I'll take that BS over no-big-time-player-giving-PC-about-joining-Buffalo anyday.

Personally, I think he's going to say he's only here to get a big future pay day, by proving he can still perform to the highest level, even on the piss-poor defence we have currently.
He will also note that although he's only got one really good leg now, he will have greater success as a pass rusher, hopping, than anyone we actually have on the roster.

Actually from the looks of it he doesn't tweet very often so more of a flirt tweeter I guess you could say.

Really nothing about the prospect of being a Bill after this year. Just ready to be a leader and prove himself on the field as a Bill.

I liked his attitude an approach. I hope he proves himself again and if that happens, I hope we resign him.

All I was doing was wondering why no presser at BB.com. Chris Brown wrote that there would be coverage. I assumed live coverage not 90 minutes later coverage. And maybe it's the lifelong Bills fan in me that couldn't fully believe Merriman joined the team until I saw it with my own eyes. Who doesn't have a little doubt about this team?

Just got through watching the presser. He is either really good at acting or he is genuine. Either way, he wasn't griping much, and sounds pretty eager to get on the field. Other than that, there wasn't a lot to it. They talked about Maybin a little bit, the style of defense we run, and how he feels about playing in Buffalo etc... He will be going with the team to Toronto, and will be on the sidelines Sunday.

He always has a chip on his shoulder. lol My favorite part of that.

I liked that part too. In many respects, that can often define the better players - that ability to always play with a chip on your shoulder. It's tantamount to an ability, and it's one of the things the Bills don't seem to have enough of, or to be able to maintain, throughout a game.

Overall I was more impressed than I expected to be. Guy sounded genuine, and not unintelligent. Did pretty well handling questions about the Chargers, and his release etc.

He sounded to me, as though he could be prepared to buy into being part of the team long term, and if he can stay healthy, he has enough time left in his potential career, to be able to do so, and see things come to fruition.

did anyone ask this guy if he would consider sticking around in Buffalo ? (never mind just watched it, it was asked, it just was a generic answer)

the one question that should of been asked doesn't get asked.... the only question I was interested in hearing a response to, all the other stuff is just fluff.

I loved the fact that he said "People forget I grew up on the East Coast, and I'm used to snow from Baltimore." Music to my ears at least!

i like what i heard a lot. i hope it translates to the field but not too much because i don't want to lose the 1st pick. i also hope he will sign with the bills if he plays well, which i believe he will. he seems eager to play some football and i am eager to watch him.
