Just remember-- the whole dispute over Wade was whether or not he'd fire the special teams coach, the disastrous Ronnie Jones. He'll never come back as a head coach, but as a DC, it's not out of the realm of possibility.

I think Quinton Ganther was signed to be a ST's guy, and Donald Jones will probably have a role similar to what he did late against the Bears - when Parrish was out.

But that means we still have two open spaces, I believe. Parrish on IR, Davis on IR, and they released Andre Anderson today as well. Signed Ganther...who else are they going to pick up?

I would hire Wade Phillips as DC tonight, over the phone. Unfortunately, that is a bridge that Ralph burnt years ago.
