I doubt it, but I am sure bf1 is.

In the end, there are only three liberal archetypes: The fools, the beneficiaries and the crooks.
"If you build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day, but if you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life"
    Optyimus Ignorus Realityious!

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
    - John F. Kennedy, January 20, 1961

To live in the presence of great truths and eternal laws,
to be led by permanent ideals -
that is what keeps a man patient
    when the world ignores him,
and calm and unspoiled when the world praises him. -- Honore De Balzac

No. His career is at stake, so he is in no position to be faking an injury. Common sense.

I'm thinking he was fully healed.... maybe got through the physical just to get out of San Diego. Then as soon as he jumps on the field with the Bills.... "ooh ouch, my leg hurts suddenly".

Makes no sense regarding the benefits to Merriman. Some ougta think before the words hit the airways.

How does him sitting on his ass not playing this year get him a nice contract next year? He's not BSing.

He will get picked up by someone no matter what happens this year. He does not want to play here, he does not want to get hurt playing here while he is being "rented". Merriman is very obviously playing a game.

He might get picked up, but I think his value drops dramatically because teams will think he is still hurt. He'd be stupid to fake this.

Yeah, GMs never talk. You think the Sabres can't trade Connolly because of his injuries? More there than meets the eye. If Merriman were faking, why do it in the first 15 minutes - wouldn't that be a little obvious?

More blind Buffalo homerism above, he does not want to play for 1.8 mil and risk an injury that puts his career in jeopardy. Someone will pay him next year to come in and play and I guarantee he would get more than the 3.6 he is playing for this year. If he blows out a knee while being an 8 game rental in Buffalo he gets no offers next year.

All he has to do is pass a physical in the offseason and he'll get a decent deal.

Some dumb team will pony up the dollars based on his name and thinking they can get the 2006 version.

I did not hear the comments myself but according to the local sports radio show out here (Xtra Sports), Marshall faulk commented on Merriman and the injury situation last night on NFL network. Allegedly Faulk alluded to Merriman wanting out in San Diego and faking his inury when he finally showed up for training camp after

                            No

He's Deroiding and constant injuries are the result.

This is why I predicted he may never see the field with us.

So his monster season after he came back from his roid suspension is due to what?
