He has played well the last month and I wondered if it would ever click with him.

13 tackles is no accident.

Even Kelsay is playing well, what is going on here?

He has been great the last month and Whitner has been better, too. Defense is starting to come around a little bit.

kelsey did play well for once. i can only attribute that to the lions playing so badly today.

One win sure makes people overreact. Kelsay is not playing well. He had a decent game today. 1 out of 9 is nothing to brag about.

I have to admit the POS has played well since the bye...and it's not just the number of tackles, but the fact that they are coming closer to the line of scrimmage instead of 5-7-11 yards downfield.

Wasn't there some talk about it taking at least half the season for the new defense to jell?

It is when you're talking Chris Kelsay here.

I think we should start using the term 'coalesce' instead.

Poz has been solid lately. Credit where credit is due. He has improved. He will always have difficulty in coverage though.

Poz had some strange angles to the running back, especially in the backfield yesterday. there is one play specifically that i'm thinking about. The lions running back was smothered in the backfield, and broke out to the wide side, and poz had a play on him and sprinted intot he backfield, on a terrible angle and the running back got back to the line of scrimmage.

but as the OP said, he has been playing better. i'll give him that. i still think if you pair him with a stud, he'll be even more disruptive. He's not the playmaker, but he should be an important piece.

and what is the deal with the bills defense that lets runningbacks get back to the line of scrimmage when they have them all set up for a loss. very frustrating stuff.
