The Offensive Line looked good today

Except for Wrotto, the O-line looked good against a very good D-line of Detroit. Vanden Bosch was almost non-existant, and Suh was held in check for the most part. Bell, Levitre, Hangman and Wood are playing decent. It could be argued that the only spot that needs to be addressed in the offseason is RT.

The line has been a lot better pass blocking since Fitz has been in. A lot of their problem was Trent imo.

I thought Wrotto played decent, but i wasnt concentrating on him. the were stunting Suh and Wrotto kept him in check.

And to think, people were saying "This line is so bad, it wouldn't matter if we had Manning back there."

They are bad, but the QB does matter.

I agree he only had a few bad plays.
Overall played pretty decent for his 1st ever NFL start

Damn him for the career ending knee injury.

I bet he did it just to piss you off.

I just watched the game again on NFL Game Rewind. Wrotto made some plays, missed on others, especially on the Bills early possessions. Settled down a bit after a bad start. Yet, he didn't make anyone forget Howard Ballard, or Bruce Devlin. Can he be good or even steady? Who knows, but he's no worse than Howard at this point and could develop (being optimistic)....

To the Bell bashers, he continues to appear to be improving. Still not very good in the run game, but has handled his pass protection better and better. He seems to be developing nicely. For a guy who was horrible last year, he seems to have stepped it up quite a bit.

Butler was an average Guard, who was switched to RT and got hurt. He may not have been so hot there either. It's not as if Butler was a Pro Bowl guy.....

Rather have him than not, but his health and future meant more to him than football. I wish Butler well.
