    Bills at Bengals: quick run down...

    The last time the Bills lost to the Bengals, Boomer Esiason was still their QB. The Bengals defeated Buffalo in Cincinnati 35-21 in week 13 of the 1988 season. The Bills have won every single match up between these 2 teams since. The Bills are on a very long 9 game winning streak against them. They lead the overall matchup between the 2 clubs by a record of 14-9. Although the Bills have been dominant against the Bengals, they are 5-6 in Cincinnati since their first meeting back in 1968.

    With both teams struggling to find wins, (Bengals 2 - 7, Bills 1 - 8) next Sunday will make for a very interesting matchup. With the Bills coming off of a close call win over Detroit, and the Bengals losing a close game over the Colts, can momentum push the Bills to another victory, or will Cincy look for redemption and steam roll through to 3-7? Your thoughts? but I say Go Bills... lol

    i am luke warm, but i like the bills in this one. maybe some stats and such will push me the other way after looking up some info during the week.

    Bengals make some bone headed plays at some key times every week. they are the 7-9 bills teams. a little talent, not really utilized well, in it each week to a degree and then a loss appears.

      I'd bet the over in this one. Both teams are going to score 25+, unless the weather is lousy.

                  It's always special when we play the Bengals - my daughter was born 15 minutes after a Bills Bengals game in which Buffalo won.

                  Between pushes both the doctor and I were watching the game.
                  "'Clean up your room.', 'Stand up straight.', 'Pick up your feet.', 'Take it like a man.', 'Be nice to your sister.', 'Don't mix beer and wine, ever.'. Oh yeah, 'Don't drive on the railroad track.'"

                  "Eh, Phil. That's one I happen to agree with."

                    Could go either way, but I think we'll lose in another heartbreaker. Not convinced this team has figured out how to win.

                      I know that this is the Bills we're discussing here.
                      And yeah, the 2010 Buffalo Bills.
                      But STILL, their opponents are the WAY under-performing, under-whelming Bengals this week. NOT the Colts.
                      I don't care how much of a battle they gave them last week.
                      Hell, we gave the Pats just as tough of a battle on their field a few weeks back, so surely we have a good shot at beating Cincy on THEIRS.
                      And yet, it appears that most here are dismissing the Bills' chances outright...

                      NOT me though.
                      After a mediocre game last week, I think Fitz rises to the occasion & outduels the man he filled in for a couple/few seasons ago & our emerging wideouts give him a big hand(s) by matching the Bengals' supposed "Dynamic Duo" in production.

                          He has been having a good year, but Johnson's numbers on Sunday were by far the best any WR has done against us all year...and I don't know if you noticed, but this ain't your momma's Buffalo D...

Bills win going away, and Marvin Lewis is wondering if we're hiring. Turns out that recruiting a team at the probation office didn't work out for the "genius." He should have been a real good coach like Shanahan and brought in a bunch of over aged, under performing veterans....

                          It's funny that our 1-8 team is actually getting respected in national circles, and the same old **** from the locals. We, at least, have character, and something to build on. These other **** teams hung their hats on aging garbage...but we don't have a plan, and if we did, it'll never work.
