Jaguars defensive end Tony Brackens was back in the hospital Sunday, this time to remove his appendix.
The surgery went well and he will go through follow-up testing to determine his ability to return to full activity, according to the Jaguars.
It wasn't an on-field setback, however. Brackens has not been able to take part in any of the offseason conditioning programs because he is still recovering from microfracture surgery performed on his left knee in November. He was not expected to begin practicing until at least July....
