FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- It is a hot, muggy June day with a thunderstorm fast approaching. But here, at the Atlanta Falcons' state-of-the-art-in-the-middle-of-nowhere practice facility, the crowd that has gathered for a meaningless Monday workout cares nothing about the coming storm.
Practice is over, and the fans all wait behind a small rope for their savior, the man who has made Falcons football chic, the man who turned the NFL upside down last year with a style of quarterbacking never seen before. Michael Vick is hotter than that approaching summer electrical storm, a rock star in cleats.
