    Dear Fitzy, I appologize

For calling you names that would make Dennis Leary blush. Thank God you have a heart the size of the city of Buffalo.

i would have been thrown in jail if what i said about fitz during the first half was said in public. i am very pleased he shut my big mouth up. didn't lower my blood pressure though. i was on the edge of my recliner the entire second half. i also loved seeing owens' big mouth shut. i hate that mother ****er.

I'll eat crow too. He really shut me up in the second half.

        Re: Dear Fitzy, I appologize

I haven't gotten worked up all season. Today, my wife and daughter left me alone for the first half, and I yelling all afternoon. The missed FG by Lindell and the extra second the refs gave the Bengals at the end of the first half nearly gave me an aneurysm.

I was cursing him out big time in the first half. But once the Bengals lost their two starting safeties, Fitzpatrick basically picked on the backups for the rest of the game.

However, I still say that Fitzpatrick is NOT the answer! He only got good once he had two scrub safeties to pick on. He struggled against the Bengals starters. He's a great backup QB, but I don't want him as my starter for the future. I still want to draft a QB to develop.

Fitz is still just an extremely servicable backup in my eyes and this is more gailey than him....but i still respect the man for the effort and heart he shows every week and i'm gonna enjoy him riding the season out.

I want to see him do something similar next week against a great D. Until then I'm still a doubter.

I'm with you, if fitz can have a huge game against Pitt maybe I'll start coming around on him as being the man for the future.

He's 28 in 3 days....and always been a journeyman QB. I can't see him as a QB of the future, no matter how he does this year.

This is classic Gailey...we've seen him help journeyman QBs put up huge fantasy numbers before. It's Gailey, not Fitz.
