NFL coaches on the hot seat

With the recent canning of Minnesota Vikings coach Brad Childress, it got me wondering what other coaches in the NFL are currently on the hot seat. I’m sure there are plenty of fans out there of every NFL team that would have valid points for firing their favorite team’s head coach, but let’s take look at the most realistic ones for the rest of the 2010 season.

Oakland will now start falling and Cable will be on the hot seat because his once great owner is now a loon.

    Fox done in Carolina

    Lewis done in Cinci

Gary Kubiak has to be on that list. If/when the Texans miss the playoffs he will have major heat.

Norv Turner too if SD does not make it.

SD will win out and make the playoffs.

Then they will self-destruct. Have you not watched every season Norv Turner has coached them? ****ty start to the year, win the division because everyone else is woeful, beat the Colts in the playoffs (not always, true), fall apart against their next opponent.

SD should just tank the rest of their games so they can get a higher pick

I'd say half of the coaches in the NFL are on the hot seat.

horrible list. both marvin lewis and john fox are on the last year of their contracts.

you're not technically on the hot-seat if you don't have a contract extension going into your final year. you're a lame duck.

neither of them need to be fired to be out of work. they just have to play out the string.
My wife told me that if I had a dollar for every girl who found me unattractive, girls would find me VERY attractive.

                    MY WIFE SAID THAT!!!

Both could get fired before the season ends, so yes, they are on the hot seat. Are they lame ducks as well going into their final seasons? Yes. But these are the 4 coaches who are in the most trouble at this juncture in the season.

If you are currently coaching a team that isn't meeting expectations, IMO, you are on the hot seat.
