I'm excited watching the recent surge in our team on the tail of a two game streak but fill in this blank:

2011 NFL Draft

1-Carolina-Andrew Luck
2-Cincinnati-Marcell Dareus
3-Detroit-Da'Quan Bowers
4-Buffalo- ? (This sucks. I don't know who is worth a #4 pick...Clayborn?)

Perfect...another 1st rd RB. Well, for those that want to draft BPA?

We don't need a WR but AJ Green is your BPA.

Patrick Peterson?

Possibly pull a reverse Jairus with him and move him to safety... I know it's not a need but it'd be a peg for the defense.

Mallett could be the pick.

I'd go with Patrick Peterson in this scenario.

My first choice would be to trade down with someone that really covets Peterson or AJ Green, which I think could be realistic given their talents. However, assuming we can't find a trade partner I'd probably go with Robert Quinn.

I highly, highly, highly doubt Buddy is going to draft Quinn after only 1 productive college season and being suspended for this season.

Quinn makes sense if you want the best balance of need and BPA. He'd be a huge upgrade at OLB. People will say he's a reach at 4 though.

I wouldn't consider his first year unproductive, but I agree somewhat. He doesn't strike me as a Nix guy. I was just saying what I would probably do.

If we are trying to guess what Nix would do, I don't know if any other D-lineman are worth a top 5 pick, and I don't think there are any top 5 OT's either. So based on Nix' philosophies and considering he took Spiller last year, my guess in this scenario would be that the Bills go with BPA and take Peterson.

How about ryan kerrigan, the dude is a beast... i know its kinda high but still he has dominated the past 2 years...

Entertain any offer to trade down and get additional selections.

We need all the help we can get in the Front 7 on D.

Peterson is a shutdown corner. He won't be playing Safety coming out of college.

AJ Green without a doubt. The guy is a beast and definitely the BPA at that spot if that is how the top 3 play out

I would take AJ Green as well. Although its pretty clear we need help with our front seven, you dont pass up on a Guy with AJs skills.

Getting Green would be sweet. If we do give Johnson an extension within the next two years, though, that's a LOT of money wrapped up in solely our WR group. Even so...it would be really hard to pass him up at that spot.

I would really like to trade Evans if we get Green though. But seeing as how the Lynch situation played out I doubt we do before next season.

Carolina is pretty set with Clausen, they are looking for him to start next year.

Carolina- AJ Green
Bills- Andrew Luck

Who is making that decision? John Fox probably isn't going to be there next season. The next coach might want to bring in "his" guy.

AJ Green

Exactly...this guy is guaranteed to be a top 5 pick...he's that good. However, if you're a BPA person, then he'd have to be the pick.

Carolina will not pass Luck just because they drafted Clausen. Clausen was only a 2nd rounder, and has played terribly.

I don't know where he is projected, but the kid can flat out play. Plus, he has a nasty streak in him. QB's fear him. Check him out in the Iron Bowl Friday.

Almost every Auburn game I've watched so far has been filled with dirty hits by several players on their defense. Guys are headhunting and hitting people late or out of bounds all the time.

Fairley seems like a rotten apple to me. No thanks.

How does AJ Green compare to Calvin Johnson as a prospect?

I was a fan of taking Green earlier in the year before Stevie J's emergence, but I don't know anymore. I feel like we're pretty strong at WR now and may have another pretty good one next year in Easley.

people we are loaded at wr, we have a deep threat in evans, a great possesion after the catch guy in johnson, and a score from anywhere on the field wr in parrish, plus 3 other young guys with size and really good potential...WE ARE NOT TAKING AJ GREEN

We need a pass rusher.

kerrigan would be my pick, fairley would be awesome, also clayborn/dareus.. maybe a trade down and we could still get some front 7 help... we are taking a 34de or 34 olb. mark it down!

Sure, I am just saying the first pick should go to the front seven on D. Not a WR, CB or Safety. I would be fine with a QB of the future.

Just a few weeks ago a lot on this board were clamoring for a franchise QB...now we read how so many of you want a stud on the D line...flip a coin!

Fitz is looking great but why hasn't he caught on with another team before we pick him up?

If Fitz is going to keep this tempo up for years then I'd be fine with one of those D line animals but do we really have faith in Fitz's potential?

Is it franchise QB in round 1 and a tackle in round two? Is it a stud on the D line in Rd 1 and LB in Rd 2? Good god...my heads spinning!
