I have to admit that the OL played pretty well today.

For the first time this year (and in many years) I really have no complaint about the OL. The right side was made up of a bunch of journeyman and even Bell looked pretty solid. Could have had a better run game but they were playing Pittsburgh after all.

They said at one point during the game that Bell hasn't allowed a sack all season. I found that very interesting.

      Jackson averaged around 5 YPC.

Bell and the backs were amazing in pass protection.

The o-line really is coming along kind of nicely.

If you look at the game, most of the protection went to the RT side with RB as the outlet for first pressure. Most of the time (maybe all - didn't re-watch) Bell was alone. As I mentioned in another thread, it was awesome to see him stone Harrison without holding.

Fitz had a nice pocket on a number of occasions, even when Pittsburgh sent a couple different blitzers. The OL definitely did a good job. Anyone pay particular attention to Urbik?

I do have a hard time believing that Bell hasn't allowed a sack all season...pretty sure he has allowed a couple sacks. Though considering the number of passing attempts...he's allowed very few.

Fitz did not have to scramble until the 4th or maybe even the OT...speaks volumes.

Bell went one on one with one of the best pass rushers in the league and shut him down.

I have to agree, the backs did an amzing job in picking up the blitzes.

The few plays I watched Urbik he did fairly well in pass pro.

I've went back and rewatched every offensive play multiple times, mainly because I was already planning on doing an OL story early this week about their progress.

All things considered against this front seven, the OL was outstanding. And Ubrik deserves special mention, he played great.. And when you watch Jackson's long TD catch and run, check out who springs the score with a cut block 15 yards down the field--- Urbik
