2nd half play adjustments.

And bye-week adjustments. Our point differential was -74 in 5 games before the bye week. After the bye week? +8 through 6 games, despite 4 losses in that span.

gailey doent keep jamming the square peg into the round hole. if a player sucks, he cuts him, he benches him. If a guy deserves a shot to be on the field, he puts them out there.

Maybin, Johnson, Edwards, Fred Jackson, David Nelson. Hardy.

These are all decisions that jauron would have told you that he'd need to review the film, but afterhe did that, he'd try the exact same thing all over again.

Dick would study the game tape after the loss instead of studying the opponent before the game.

Chan has the balls to go for the win.

Dick ironically has no balls.

I like the fact they tried to throw it down field in over-time twice, but, he was pretty conservative too. 4th and 2 and we punt? In over-time? We're 2-8 and we're going to punt and give the ball to Big Ben? It worked out, because Moorman pinned them inside the 5 and we stopped them, but then to punt again on 4th and 9th with like a 47 yard field goal attempt? I'd rather give it all in a try to win on our own hands then give the ball back to Big Ben. I don't care if it's into the wind, we had nothing to lose and those are field goals Lindell has made in the past.

Chan is moving the franchise forward. Dick moved this team back...

We were lucky on several games, but there was no passion on them.

Nah that 47 yard FG was into strong wind. I didn't like it either but we did the right thing.

Punting from the oppositions 40 on 4th and 3 in OT is balls to go for the win?

This board and fans in general have criticized former regimes including Gregg Williams for doing the same.

Seemingly Chan gets a pass on it though.

Take it for what it's worth, but Fitz said the offense didn't make any adjustments at halftime, they just never had the ball.

I do like Gailey though, and the direction this team is headed.

Just look at how many penalties we have and you will find proof that this is a well coached team.

And we were one of the better teams in the league in penalties while Jauron was here too.

Does that mean the team was well coached while Jauron was here too?

to be fair. Dick was the coach for half the season. in 08 I believe we were one of the least penalized teams.

In 09, we were 25th for total penalties and 25th for penalty yards.

In 07, we were 7th for total penalties and 8th for total penalty yards.

that shows we were one of the least penalized teams , offensively. Dallas had the most . Defensively, we were also 2nd least penalized teams.o8

When looking at these penalty stats, esp. on defense, keep in mind that the majority of defensive penalties come against the pass. People ran it against us an awful lot last year.

justasportsfan

it wasn't hard to be the least penalized team under Dick when you have only 3 pop warner plays in your playbook.

One undeniable difference between Chan and Dick

Dick sucked and Chan does not

But I agree this team gains steam, instead of losing it. We we're the kings of 2nd half/4th quarter collapses under Dick
