I know we have 500 threads started on the Sabres being sold but this deserved it's own thread...This would be the greatest thing to happen to Buffalo sports since the day the Sabres drafted Gilbert Perreault and Tom Mehs lost his virginity (he did lose his virginity, right?
I was set to take the rest of my Wednesday evening off from sports, but a report by John Murphy on the WIVB-TV newscast caught my eye. Murphy was discussing the potential Buffalo Sabres sale by Terry Pegula from Tom Golisano when the subject of Larry Quinn came up… and Quinn provided a quote to the station worth mentioning.
When asked by a television reporter what his future with the organization holds, Quinn was surprisingly (at least to me) quite candid with his response.
“I’ll get out when Tom gets out,” Quinn said. “Whenever that happens.”
