It's a little early to think about this but, depending on the CBA, here is a look at the Bills 2011 opponents.

Dallas will be playing the AFC East team on Thanksgiving next year. It will be the Bills or Fins. Any chance we get the game?

Home:
NYJ
NE
Miami
Denver
KC
Philadelphia
Washington
AFC South 4th place Team (Tennessee)

Away:
NYJ
NE
Miami
Oakland
SD
Dallas
NYG
AFC North 4th place Team (Cincinnati)

Best NFC division, arguably the worst AFC division, plus our usual slew of the Fish, Jets, and Patsies.

Meh...

Why wouldn't it be the Pats on Thanksgiving?

Pats played against Detroit on Thanksgiving this year and Dallas will have to travel to NE.

Because watching Miami is even more boring than watching the Bills play.

I'm thinking Miami gets the Thanksgiving game, and we'll get to see the Leon Lett snafu a million times.

With Buffalo's luck, Cincinnati and Tennesse will turn things around and win their divisions next season, and the AFC west will join the AFC East as the two toughest divisions in the AFC.

I know the Bills have a 1/8 chance of being on Thanksgiving, but how have we narrowed it down to a 50/50 shot? What about the 7 other home games Dallas has? Do they have to play an AFC team? They didn't this year.

I have no desire to have the Bills give me indigestion on Turkey Day.

It would be nice for me - I could watch a Bills game with my dad.

I would love a Thanksgiving day game, I just don't get how we've narrowed it down to a 50/50 shot.

Dallas will have a home Thanksgiving day game against an AFC opponent.

They will have two AFC teams that they play in Dallas next year - Buffalo and Miami.

I had no idea that it was for sure against the AFC team but that's good to know. Chances are they'll pick Miami because they are "better" this year, but I'll hold out hope.

To add to Lecter's post...there are three games on T-day.

CBS, Fox and NFLN all get one game. Detroit and Dallas rotate the game on CBS and Fox. Dallas played on Fox this year. To play on CBS the game must be against an AFC team...etc. 50/50 shot.

any season will be a long season until this team dips into free agency and makes better choices on draft day.

bills have a shot. you know jerry jones. He wants to put on a good show in dallas. You can be assured he'd lobby to have a big blowout game in his personal Taj Mahal. However, the Taj was built for the Shah's favorite queen.

The new dallas stadium was built for Jerry's favorite queen. himself.

Let's hope not. I don't feel like vomiting up my Thankgiving dinner everywhere after the Bills make me sick by blowing yet ANOTHER lead during prime time!

Hey, the Raiders played in Dallas last year over San Diego (who, by the way, hasn't played on Thanksgiving since it was in the AFL). So a Bills-Cowboys matchup isn't entirely out of the question.

Hopefully they remember the Bills Cowboys Monday Nighter a few years ago...yeah sad for us but entertaining game!

The Fins will get the Thanksgiving game. You will have the Parcells and Cowboys storyline to fall back on for one. Plus like another poster above mentioned, they can show all the replays of the Leon Lett Thanksgiving disaster years ago. Plus the Fins are a more popular team nationally then the Bills are.

So far looks a little more easy then this year but still tough. Teams improve and or go down hill in the off season to the season. It could be hard or super easy. I am much more confident next year's is way easier then this years.

Don't know if this will sway the decision but:

2003 - Miami 40 Dallas 27
1999 - Dallas 20 Miami 0

Both on Thanksgiving. In 2007 they did play but not on Thanksgiving...remember these teams only play every four years.

They can also show replays of the Buffalo-Dallas Super Bowls if they choose Buffalo.

The (Revamped) Bills, or the Crying Chads?

If given the option there is no way Sporano agrees to play on a holiday dedicated to eating.

Our throwbacks are way cooler.

It would also be great to hear the phins fans crying how they were screwed.

Lastly, Lecter would get to watch the game with his dad...as would I, whether he wanted to or not!!

looks like 4-12I was going with 3 wins based on our current team... I think Wash, Den, and Cinnci would be beatable... and thats about it.

Not sure how you are figuring out home/away games outside our division, but having to fly to the west coast twice will be taxing on the team.

Because the division rotation is set years ago. They play the NFC East and AFC West for sure.

Last time they played Dallas it was at home, so this will be at Dallas.

It all follows the same pattern.

For the 2 games, 1 against the AFC North and AFC South, it's division placement. Bills are at the bottom of the East, so they'll play the bottom team in the North (Cin) and South (?).

Not really. Parcells is pretty much irrelevant to either of those teams at this point.

You guys are guessing at records now, before 2010 has even ended? Who would have guessed last year that Jacksonville and KC, the two opponents we faced for being in last place in 2009, would be leading their divisions currently? Nobody even knows who we'll draft, who we'll sign in FA, who will get injured in TC/preseason/etc. Things change very quickly. Besides, if there is even a season in 2011, won't it have 18 games, not 16?
