    superbowl picks for 2010 season

I don't remember being this far along in an NFL season and having absolutely no clue as to who will be one of the teams in the superbowl.

The titans were hot early, the jets have struggled yet won games, indy is falling apart, san diego's charmed month came crashing to a halt yesterday, NO loses some pretty winnable games, the eagles were slowed down versus the bears. and meanwhile Atlanta slowly and quietly is humming along with the best record in football.

Is this striking anyone else as odd?

It's the way it should be.

It's about time the focus has shifted away from dominant teams like the Patriots and Cowboys and more surprise teams are suddenly becoming playoff contenders.

agreed. i know next to nothing about Atlanta. (thank you espn for only caring about the chosen few). Yet i really want to see them do well. most people don't know why this team is 10-2. Hell, most people don't even know they are 10-2.

It's all vick and the eagles, brady and his hair, Jets and Rex, Cowboys and they suck, Titans and Vince, Favre and his penis.

I kind of like seeing those teams that are spurned by the know it all ESPN kids get further along.

The NFC appears to easily be the stronger conference this year. Atlanta, Green Bay, Philadelphia, and the NY Giants are all contenders.

It's between the AFC North and AFC East teams in our conference. I'll say that it's between the Ravens and Pats. I know the Steelers just won, but I see Baltimore being the better playoff team, not sure why.

As for my prediction, I'm gonna go with the Eagles vs. Raiders.

          Why not.

New Orleans isn't gonna go back.

                And neither is New England.

If New England and/or New Orleans reach the Super Bowl, I may consider boycotting.

                      Brady, Brees
                      vs.
                      Campbell

But the Raiders have fast wr's.

So what. Two of the best. That's why they are in the play-offs every year.

Brees only made the playoffs with the Saints twice.
